Day 1

Depart USA

Today, we embark on our international flights, where refreshments and snacks will be served throughout the journey.

Day 2

Arrival in Rome

Welcome to Rome, the Eternal City! Upon arrival at the airport, collect your luggage and meet our tour escort. We will then transfer to the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, where we will visit our first Holy Door as part of our pilgrimage. Afterward, we will celebrate Mass and take a guided tour of this magnificent Basilica. Following our visit, we will transfer to our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Papal Audience – St. Mary Major & St. John Lateran

This morning, we attend the Papal Audience in St. Peter’s Square or the Audience Hall, depending on the Pope's schedule. Afterward, enjoy some free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, the Holy Stairs, and the Basilica of St. Mary Major, which is dedicated to Our Blessed Mother.

Day 4

St. Peter’s Basilica – Vatican Museum – Sistine Chapel – Ancient Rome

Today, we tour the iconic St. Peter’s Basilica, built over the tomb of St. Peter. Next, we visit the Vatican Museums, where you’ll have the opportunity to see the awe-inspiring Sistine Chapel, the Tapestry Gallery, and the Raphael Rooms. After lunch, we embark on a walking tour of Ancient Rome, passing by remarkable sites such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, and more!

Day 5
Rome Monte Cassino – San Giovanni
Rotondo

Board the bus for a scenic journey to the Abbey of Monte Cassino, founded by St. Benedict in 530 A.D. After celebrating Mass, we will continue our journey to San Giovanni Rotondo, the home of St. Padre Pio, where thousands come to venerate this great saint.

Day 6

San Giovanni Rotondo – St. Michael’s Shrine

Today, we visit the Old Church of Our Lady of Grace, where you can see the confessional where St. Pio spent countless hours. Afterward, we travel along the scenic Gargano Peninsula to the Sanctuary of St. Michael the Archangel, one of the oldest shrines dedicated to St. Michael, with a history dating back to the 5th century. In the evening, we will participate in the Candlelight Procession at the Sanctuary of St. Pio (May-October) at 9:00 pm.

Day 7

San Giovanni Rotondo – Lanciano –
Loreto – Adriatic Coast

Depart for Lanciano, where we will celebrate a private Mass at the Church of St. Longinus, the site of the 8th-century Eucharistic Miracle. Afterward, we continue to Loreto to visit the Holy House of Nazareth, believed to have been transported by angels, and venerate the Madonna of Loreto. In the evening, unwind along the beautiful Adriatic Coast, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay by the sea.

Day 8

Free Day on the Adriatic Coast

Enjoy a free day along the stunning Adriatic Sea. You may choose to take a leisurely walk along the beach, explore a charming seaside town, or simply take time for prayer and relaxation.

Day 9
Assisi

This morning, we transfer to Assisi, where we begin with a tour of the Basilica of St. Francis. Here, you will see the tomb of St. Francis and have the opportunity to view a series of frescoes depicting his life, along with some of his personal belongings. Next, we visit the Santuario Della Spogliazione, where the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis is located—the first millennial to be declared Blessed.

Continue your tour with a walk through the picturesque town of Assisi, where St. Francis and St. Clare both responded to God's call to rebuild His Church. You will have some free time for additional prayer, shopping, and lunch. After lunch, we board the bus and travel outside the walls of Assisi to the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels. This Basilica consists of two key structures: the "Porziuncola" and the "Capella del Transito," the place where St. Francis passed away.

Return to the hotel for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 10
Free Day in Assisi
Visit the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels, home to the Porziuncola, the chapel where St. Francis received his calling. Afterward, enjoy a peaceful day in Assisi at your own pace. You may choose to revisit the Basilica of St. Francis, spend time in silent prayer at one of Assisi’s chapels, or explore the charming streets of this serene town.

Day 11

Assisi – Umbria – Montepulciano Wine & Cheese Tasting

Journey through the beautiful region of Umbria, renowned for its rolling hills and spiritual heritage. Arrive in Montepulciano, a medieval hilltop town famous for its Vino Nobile wine and local cheeses. Enjoy a delightful wine tasting while taking in the breathtaking views of Tuscany’s scenic landscapes.

Day 12

Rome – Medieval Town of Civita di Bagnoregio

Embark on a day trip to the medieval Civita di Bagnoregio, a stunning hilltop village often referred to as the "dying city" due to its precarious location. Spend a relaxed afternoon wandering through its charming cobblestone streets before transferring back to Rome.

Day 13

Rome

Today is free for you to explore Rome at your own pace. Shop for last-minute souvenirs, visit any churches you may have missed, or simply enjoy a delicious farewell gelato as you take in the beauty of the Eternal City.

Today we board

Today, we board our return flights home, carrying with us cherished memories, countless blessings, and a renewed sense of faith.

Term & Conditions

Acceptance of Terms

By making any payment (cash, credit card, or otherwise) toward any tour, you unconditionally accept all terms and conditions stated herein.

Registration and Payments

A deposit of 15% per person is required upon registration, along with a signed copy of the registration form, at least 90 days prior to departure.
A second payment is due 150 days prior to departure.
The final payment is due 45 days prior to departure. Late payments incur a $50 fee.
Reservations may be canceled if payments are 30 days late.

Processing Fee

A 4% processing fee will be added to any payments made using a bank card (credit or debit). Please note that processing fees are non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees are as follows:

  • $600 from registration to 120 days before departure.
  • $600 + 20% of the total price from 119 to 60 days before departure.
  • $600 + 50% of the total price from 59 to 31 days before departure.
  • No refunds within 30 days of departure.

Travel Protection

Travel Insurance is recommended and can be purchased at or before the final to be eligible for a waiver for pre-existing medical conditions. Otherwise, the plan may be purchased up until the day prior to departure. Coverage begins the day after purchase of your chosen protection plan.

Medical Conditions

Participants requiring special assistance must be accompanied by a qualified helper. Jerusalem Adventures is not responsible for any medical conditions occurring during the tour, as any cancellation is non-refundable.

Transportation and Accommodations

Transport is provided by private deluxe motor coach.
Tour prices are based on double occupancy; single supplements apply if a roommate cannot be paired.

Meals and Tipping

Meals are included per the itinerary; beverages are extra.
Tipping is not included unless specified. Suggested tips: $6 for guides, $4 for drivers, and $2 per hotel night.

Air Travel

Air transportation is economy class and subject to change. Passengers are responsible for any changes to their domestic flights and associated fees.

Baggage Policy

Most checked baggage has a 50 lbs. limit with maximum dimensions of 62 inches. Some airlines may allow one carry-on bag. Passengers should check with their airline for specific luggage policies.

Jerusalem Adventures (JA) reserves the right to alter itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances. Efforts will be made to accommodate passengers on alternative trips or revised itineraries.
